About the project
Late last year, doctors discovered high levels of lead in Darlene Medley’s 3-year-old twin boys, a condition blamed on contaminated paint and soil around their home found by lead inspectors. Now, this mother of nine has taken matters into her own hands, advocating for all children in Syracuse to be lead-free by 2025.
