About the project
Laughing in the distance, barbers congregate outside their shop, as a man cycles past them blasting muffled hip-hop music from a portable speaker. Screech! A woman slams her brakes to avoid hitting the cyclist as she enters an Italian bistro. This is a typical day on historic North Salina Street — a melting pot of nationalities, cultures and ethnicities.
