Pieces Made Whole

Between taking care of his 99-year-old father and mentoring disabled teens, Ron Stefanak finds comfort and creative freedom in quilting. A pattern designer and the owner of Ronulus Designs in Fulton, N.Y., he spends hours every day perfecting his craft and sells his work at quilting shows statewide. In his spare time, Ron collects pieces of fabric and builds them back up in a newly beautiful way, stitch by stitch reflecting his own self-exploration.
