After nearly a decade-long hiatus from years of dancing classical ballet for a living, Charles Haislah regained his love for dance when he was introduced to burlesque while in remission from colon cancer. Haislah balances his time between teaching ballet to young girls and making a name for himself in a predominantly female industry. Empowered by his newfound ambition, Haislah overcomes daily struggles from life-long medical treatment and finding ways to conceal the scars in an art that bares all.
