Acting Out

The Media Unit offers a unique environment where teens can explore difficult topics without fear. Student performers and producers in the theater group write and perform their own work to encourage discussion about current issues in their community, including race and bullying. Plays and other pieces touch on themes they can relate to and feature in an effort to bring about change.
