Scars and missing limbs are familiar and obvious side effects of war, but not all wounds are visible. Several years ago, upon returning home from a grueling deployment in Africa, Jeremy Bristol struggled to cope with ordinary life. Along with nightmares and anxiety, he would often find himself blacking out, then coming to, unaware of how he ended up where he was. Through his love for the outdoors, Jeremy has discovered a hobby that helps distract him from painful memories — handcrafting fishing flies.
