Treading Water

Voices echo off the pool deck as the Syracuse University’s Men’s Water Polo Club practices for games they won’t win. A lack of local interest in the sport means they don’t have enough players to run drills or to field a full bench for games, which forces them to play at a disadvantage. Despite not having won a game all season, this small but talented crew stick together and show up each day, ready to give it their all.
