How many bloody heads will there be? Which ghouls will hang in the tree? These are questions Marcia Bower ponders for 12 months in anticipation of her favorite time of year. The locally proclaimed “Queen of Halloween” has made the spooky holiday her life, and her ever-evolving homemade monsters testify to an impressive devotion. Marcia’s motivation to create these ghastly creatures not only stems from a playful desire to scare and disgust but also from a sense of duty, a duty to share this love with the people around her.
