Vianey Botame, originally from Bangui, Central African Republic, moved to a refugee camp after the country’s civil war. He played soccer in the camp with his friends and is now a forward for the Henninger High School boys soccer team. His love for the game has given him the confidence as he adapts to life in the U.S.
